My husband, myself and my parents were driving to Ottawa. We took the shortcut through the United States. Since we had a deadline we were driving all day and night. we had stopped various places, restaurants, truck stops etc to get something to eat and a good cup of coffee but could not find that perfect cup. By the time we got to Michigan we were just dying for that coffee. We were heading to the Windsor tunnel through Detroit and all of sudden on the right hand side to our amazement we saw a Tim Hortons! I was so excited I had to make my husband drive across three lanes to stop. It was one of the best cups of coffee I had it seemed in days! Why is it in Canada you can find a Tim Hortons practically around any corner you turn but in the U.S. they are so rare?
