Sydney Nova Scotia Trip

In the summer of 2007, My boyfriend and I decided to take a road trip to Sydney Nova Scotia, This was the first time that I have been anywhere and going to Nova Scotia was especially exciting for me, My dad is from Sydney Mines in Nova Scotia, he has been gone for almost 7 years now. The most amazing and beautiful thing I saw when we finally got there was the ocean, to see the sun sets is something I will never forget. On our trip we made it to Sydney and it was 10pm, the only store open was yes that is right a Timmys, we went in to get a coffee and in Nova Scotia they had coconut filled donuts( just like boston cream but with coconut in it) the employees in the Timmy's were extremely helpful in pointing us in the direction for Louisburg where we were camping. We stayed in a campsite that was right on the ocean, there was 2 fisheries on either side of the campsite. I was so thrilled to watch the fisherman take off their catch of the day, see that is what my dad did when he lived there. I know he was with me when i was standing there watching them. Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and the whole area is such a wonderful and magical place. I will never ever forget what I saw or experienced while i was there. The people are wonderful and so kind.
The trip is one thing i will always cherish.
